StEP was developed to help organizations improve their strategy design and execution through a systemic framework that combines management and measurement.
The StEP Program is aimed at company directors and senior managers who must formulate, implement, and monitor a winning strategy that is consistent with the firm’s mission, vision and values.
What is the Strategy Execution Pathway Essentials?
While great ideas can put your company on the map and in the public eye, it’s going to take more than brilliance to stay there and surge forward. Nowadays, companies need to have a sustainable strategy execution system in place to be able to deliver the expected results continuously and consistently. With that in mind, the Institute of Corporate Directors invites you to take the Strategy Execution Pathway (StEP). StEP is a two-part management technology transfer program that helps organizations improve in both strategy design and systematic execution. StEP is based on the Kaplan-Norton Balanced Scorecard, the gold standard in performance management. Both the Essentials and Masters workshops are designed to develop strategy execution systems for companies in the context of good corporate governance.
StEP Essentials, the flagship course, delves into the intricacies of the strategic process. This how-to course provides the working team with the skills and tools needed to craft a strategic plan which would lead them to the successful realization their corporate vision, accomplishing the goals determined by their Directors. The two-day program capacitates its participants with comprehensive learnings on key features of strategy design creating the strategy map and balanced in correlation with developing a governance culture. At the end of the course, the participants would be able to understand, explain and immediately apply the tools in their respective companies.
